TGIF!! :)

Hey Everyone!

I hope you have all had a good week at school, University or work. Whichever way you spent your week I am sure you’re glad to see the weekend now. So how will you be spending it? Out with friends, nose in a book or maybe catching up on something you’ve been putting off for a while? Welcome to the second edition of Weekend Reads!!

Unfortunately my weekend will be spent in a blizzard of work; I have been called in for extra shifts and now have another busy weekend ahead with lots to do. In between all the craziness I am planning to get a bit of reading done too!

So far this week I have finished Insurgent by Veronica Roth and started Allegiant although I haven’t got as far as I wanted to be by now. I am hoping to spend my weekend tackling the last book in the renowned trilogy and if I manage that I am going to start either The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnellor The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

I have really been enjoying the Divergent series and my new found love of the dystopian genre so I’m inclined to start into The Hunger Games now that the craze has dwindled and I hopefully won’t be coming across any spoilers on the internet. However I am really enjoying the TV adaptation of The Carries Diaries and want to get started on the books before the next season. Therefore I’ll have to wait and see what my reading mood if after Allegiant.

Stay tuned for the weekend reads update on Sunday night to see if I’ve reached my goal. Which book do you think I should go onto next or are there any you’d like to recommend instead? Which books are you planning to get stuck into this weekend or do you have a busy schedule to work around?

Have a great weekend everybody!
