Weekend Reads Wrap Up #5

Happy Monday followers, I hope this week is going well for you all.

Over the weekend I was super busy with work and seeing the family but somehow managed to fit in a wee bit of reading. I am nearly finished Going Home by Harriet Evans and so far I am really enjoying the plot, I’m just excited to see how it will all tie together at the end. n143951

I have also started another two books over the weekend due mostly to impatience and excitement. I started The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman and Life after Life by Kate Atkinson which I managed to get on my Kindle for a bargain price after nearly buying it in a book store last week.

Both books are very different as The Graveyard book by Neil Gaiman is eerily set in a graveyard with some of the main characters being ghosts, compared to Life after Life by Kate Atkinson which has a more realistic plot and characters set in the early nineteenth century. However I am really enjoying both books as well as Going Home by Harriet Evans, sometimes it’s nice to be able to choose what you read based on how your feeling and for those times when I want something a bit humorous I can reach for The Graveyard Book and for those serious moments I have Going Home or Life after Life.

Hopefully I will get Going Home finished soon and have a review up this week and don’t forget to keep a look out for The Book Thief movie review which will be up this week too.

Have fun this week!
