Happy Tuesday guys! Hope everyone is having a good first week of June and making the most of what should be summer weather.
Since this is the first week of June I am hoping to start of my reading month strongly and attempt reading two books this week. Both books I have been excited to get into therefore increasing my confidence that I can get through them in any free time I have.
One of the books I plan on reading this week is Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell which I have started reading and so far really enjoy. Rainbow Rowell writes so naturally and realistically to the situation that reading the book isn’t just enjoyable but easy, almost like you lose track of time because the plot is so fluid.
The second book I am hoping to start this week is The Scorch Trials by James Dashner which is the follow up to The Maze Runner. I literally have to stop myself picking this book up because I am so excited to see what happens next and at the same time I want to finish Eleanor and Park first. This week is just all too exciting for me when it comes to reading and I hope I will still put as much effort into everything else that needs done.
To recap on my Weekend Reads post I did go and see McBusted on Saturday night and they put on an awesome show. I felt like a 12 year old girl all over again and surprised myself with the amount of lyrics I remembered…then again anyone that doesn’t know at least the chorus of Air Hostess has to have lived in a cave for the past 10 years! I had an absolute ball and would seriously recommend going to see them if you get the chance.
Have a great week and don’t forget to have fun!
