Daily Reads #10

Welcome to the working week readers!

After reviewing the number of books I have read this month so far I have realised that I need to pick up the pace for this month. So this week I plan on finishing The Scorch Trials by James Dashner which so far is amazing. I had no idea where the plot would go after the first book but as unexpected as this is, I am definitely hooked on the series.

The next book on my list for this month is Cinder by Marissa Meyer which is a very modern take on the fairy tale Cinderella. From what I’ve gathered it sounds like there are mystical creatures like a Cyclops in it and maybe even robots…I haven’t read a lot about the book cause I don’t want to spoil it for myself first but so far it sounds really interesting.

Finally for this week I hope to at least start a third book. The one I have chosen is 172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad. The plot for this book basically settles around the story of three teenagers winning a competition to be sent to the moon. Lately in work I have been reading a lot about the lunar landings and the different landscapes experienced by astronauts on the moon. Therefore I am really interested to see which direction Johan Harstad takes in his book, will it be factually correct in areas or all fictional? Either way I am very interested in reading this book.

As usual if you click on the titles of these books above or the pictures you can read a bit more about them on goodreads. If anyone has already read them leave me a comment about what you think or if you have any recommendations feel free to leave a comment below.

I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys the sunny weather!
