Bout of Books #12 TBR

BoB12-200x200

So this weekend I have already started reading for the What Lovely Books read-a-thon over on Tumblr but I am super excited to start into the Bout of Books read-a-thon. I have been waiting for this to come around again, as I’m sure many others have. I need this motivation to start of 2015 well when it comes to reading and to make sure I read the books on my shelves I have created a TBR Jar.

For Bout of Books #12 I will be picking two books from the TBR Jar and one book off the shelves that I want to read myself. That way I can mix it up a bit what I want to read throughout the month. I did the same thing for the What Lovely Books read-a-thon which started yesterday but if you want to check out the TBR list for that read –a-thon too you can click on this link here.

So the two books I have picked from the TBR Jar are:

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close – Jonathan Safran Foer

untitled (14)

Vampire Academy – Richelle Mead

18660669

I am very excited to start into these books as Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close has been on my shelves for some time whilst the Vampire Academy is a book I received at Christmas. They are also two very different books so at least I will have something to read depending on how I am feeling.

The third and final book for this read-a-thon is one of my choice:

Maus : A Survivor’s Tale, My Father Bleeds History– Art Spiegelman

15195

I thought I would add in the first book of Maus as it is graphic novel and so far all the books for the two read-a-thons have been print. I am only adding in the first book but I do have the second so if I feel like reading it afterwards at least I have it to hand.

I am so excited to get started into these books properly this week and take some time for reading and relaxation.

Good Luck for the Bout of Books read-a-thon and leave a comment if you have read any of these books before, I would love to know what you think.
