Hello readers and happy weekend!
I’m looking forward to getting off work this weekend and having a bit of time to relax, however I have a lot of commitments that need doing this weekend so I think I’ll be kept busy. When I get the chance to read I want to spend this weekend reading more of The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. I haven’t had a chance to read much of it this week so if I get a few hours to myself I would like to really get into the plot. This is a book that I have heard lots of great things about and it seems to follow a love triangle and a teenage coming of age story. The perfect summer reading as the weather starts to warm up although the sun still has to make an appearance.
This week has been a little harder when it comes to winding down and reading so I still have a little bit to go in Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira. Hopefully I will have it finished and a review uploaded over the weekend though. I am enjoying this book; I love the layout and the style of the book. The use of letters is unusual and in this context seems ideal for the character Laurel who seems to be learning how to live again after losing her sister.
I’m hoping to concentrate on just these books over the weekend as I do have lots to do. I’m also travelling next week which I am very excited about so I want to start packing on Sunday too. I’ll tell more in my Daily Reads post next week but for now there’s lots to do and little time to do it in. So happy reading and have a great weekend readers!
