Unfortunately I never got the chance to upload a Daily Reads last week but unfortunately I was only flying home on the Monday and had to get sorted out for work. Life is much harder when you’re an adult, there’s always something to do and not enough time to do it in. Anyway I had an absolutely amazing time in Paris, being a tourist and a big kid at Disneyland and I know for sure I will be back at some point. However all good things must come to an end but I’m glad that I have the little joy brought to my daily week through reading and I’m excited to get into my reading list for June.
This week I am hoping to focus on finishing The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han and hopefully have a review up in a few days. I am really enjoying this book and it reminds me of long summers and being young. This is the perfect summertime read and I think I have found a new author, who I need more of on my bookshelves. Anyway check back to hear more of my thoughts once I upload the review.
I also want to read more of Always the Bridesmaid by Lindsey Kelk which is just a humorous piece of chick-lit. However it’s written in a real, human style which I love. Lindsey Kelk portrays woman in a realistic and sometimes relatable way, even down to the way they think. I absolutely love her books and can’t wait to devote some time to reading this book with a good glass of wine.
Well I hope everyone has a good week and keep on reading!
