July Wrap Up and August TBR

IMG_0215

Hello readers,

So it has just hit me that it is now August…when did that happen? The summer in work is so busy and it is flying in and I can barely tell from one week to the next. However next week is my birthday and I am particularly excited about that. As I have been so busy this month I didn’t manage to get through my huge TBR, however I did try. So below are the books I read this month and if you want to check out my reviews just click on the title or cover.

When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit – Judith Kerr

The Da Vinci Code – Dan Brown

World War Z – Max Brooks

Nika – D.H.Gibbs

I am also still reading these books despite saying numerous times that I will be finishing them up soon, so I am determined to finish them up in August.

The Never Ending Days of Being Dead – Marcus Chown

Never Ending Days of Being Dead

Unhooked – Lisa Maxwell

Unhooked

As I didn’t get round the starting these books in July I will be carrying them on over in August’s TBR. I hadn’t originally planned to read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown this month but The Da Vinci Code was so good that I desperately needed more of Dan Brown’s work in my life as soon as possible so I will be starting that on the next available evening.

Angels and Demons – Dan Brown

Scarlet – Marissa Meyer

Ruin and Rising – Leigh Bardugo

Hollow City – Ransom Riggs

Sky On Fire – Emmy Laybourne

Dorothy Must Die – Danielle Paige

The Secret of Heaven – Felix Alexander

I’m also very excited about the books above; they are all tapping into my need for some fast paced, adventurous and dystopian plots which is exactly what I need to ride out the end of the busy summer period in work.

So I hope you all have a fantastic reading month, I know I definitely will.
