Weekend Reads #79

Happy Friday Readers,

I am still loving my week off and today I am heading for a hair trial for the wedding, it’s hard to believe it had come around the this time already with less than four months to go. I have been reading as much as I can while I was off and I had the most amazing book haul on Wednesday for my birthday which I will be posting about over the weekend.

Despite being super busy over the next few days I will also be spending time with my books and trying to make my way through my TBR for this month. I am nearly finished Angels and Demons by Dan Brown which just keeps getting better with every page. It getting more and more intense and fast-paced and I can’t put it down.

Scarlet

I also want to get started on a new book this weekend so I’m hoping to pick up Scarlet by Marissa Meyer which is part of the Lunar Chronicles. I read Cinder a long time ago and I’m hoping to get back into this series. I really enjoyed it and was determined to get back into it when I heard another book had been released last year. Unfortunately it was the same story for many readers where I had too many books to read and not enough time so it ended up on the back burner.

Dorothy

I am also continuing on with Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige. I’m finding this book intriguing as I’m only a few pages in but I can’t help but find it a little humorous as well as it has taken the story of The Wizard of Oz and given it a new face and a massive twist.

So I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, I can’t wait to share my thoughts on these books in the weeks to come.
